S/H Prices listed are for continental United States only.  Surcharges apply for Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, etc.  CALL PRIOR TO ORDERING.  Delivery methods - WE usually ship via UPS or FedEx standard ground and shipping times vary from 4-6 business days.  Listed s/h charges are stated for the continental 48 US States. Shipping charges to Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, are listed separately. Please email for a prompt response. How Long Before My Purchase Ships?  Brackets usually ship within 1-2 business days after purchase. In all other cases, unless the item you purchase states "for immediate shipping" allow 5 business days for construction in Apache and V-leathertm Collection; 10-15 business days for construction in Crusader Collection.  Hand-laced braiding, basketweave and carving may result in additional delays. Please ask prior to your order, about surcharges.

Expedited Shipping:  Unless otherwise stated, shipping is not expedited. If you want expedited shipping, please contact us prior to purchase for a S/H quote. In such cases, please note that nothing can ship until your credit card settles. Orders placed prior to 5PM EST via credit card settle the day of purchase. Orders placed later than 5PM EST do not settle until the following evening. WE CANNOT SHIP ANYTHING UNTIL YOUR CREDIT CARD CHARGE HAS BEEN APPROVED AND HAS SETTLED. So, for example, if you order an item on Tuesday at 3 PM and choose us to ship via Overnight Expedited Shipping, your package will not ship until WEDNESDAY unless we state otherwise in an email or fax. Expedited shipping may or may not arrive as expected. We cannot guarantee the performance of a shipping company, so please understand that expedited S&H charges are NOT refundable under any circumstances. We try to accommodate our customers' needs and bend over backwards to get everything to you as quickly as possible. That said, "Quality takes time." Thanks for understanding.

Warranty & Returns/Exchanges

WARRANTY:  Everthing I sell (unless it is sold "as is") is subject to at least a one-year warranty against defects in parts and workmanship.  Some of our saddlebags carry longer warranties and some a Lifetime Warranty.  Please read details (below)

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY: Please read our EASY NO-HASSLE POLICY for purchases made on this website or by phone for purchases within the Continental United States.  (Others, see "Non US Return Policy").  We can always be reached immediately via email.  Phone calls: 203-746-6295.  I want you to be thoroughly satisfied with your purchase. Except for certain special promotions (please check details listed with promotions or listed here below) and "free shipping" offers, we do not charge a restocking fee on exchanged items.  Take a look at our policies and feel free to ask any questions whatsoever. Here they are:


IF ITEM ARRIVES DAMAGED: Contact me by phone or email within 3 days of receipt and prior to removing tags, packing materials or mounting bags. I will immediately pay for pickup of damaged item and prompt replacement.

IF ITEM ARRIVES AND IT IS NOT WHAT YOU ORDERED - contact me within 3 days of receipt and I will immediately pay for pickup of item and prompt replacement with correct item.

ALL EXCHANGES FOR ANY OTHER REASON - (Policy listed applies only to Continental US & Non-Custom Orders)  YOU MUST HAVE AN RMA # - We will  exchange any merchandise (excluding Closeouts and Overstock items, final Sale, Free Shipping and Special Promotions - see below for information) returned within two weeks (From the day you receive your purchase,  you have two weeks to call and get an RMA number). Items must be in new, re-sellable condition and returned with the original packaging including tags, labels, plastic bag and box.  Please ship all items you received (including the shipping box) inside your own shipping box.    A Return Merchandise Authorization number is required for any return or exchange and must be visible on your shipping box.  To obtain an RMA number, email Jim@Leatherneckjim.com or call 203-746-6295.  We are always available via email.   Do not ship return/exchange items without putting original box inside your own box clearly marked with the RMA number or it will not be accepted or will be held for you to pick up.

  • Exchanges: There is never a restocking fee for exchanges.  The customer is responsible for shipping return and for shipping of the item for which it has been exchanged. 
  • Above policy applies only to Continental US Sales & Non-Custom orders
  • Please follow instructions and you will be issued a full store credit (less Shipping/Handling fees.)  If your return does meet the guidelines listed in this section, it may be subject to additional fees.  If you have any questions, email us for details. 
  • Contact us within two weeks of receipt of purchase
  • Only applies if purchase is not a closeout, custom order, final sale, Special Promotion or Free Shipping)
  • Items must be shipped with RMA number, manufacturer's original packaging including tags, labels, plastic bags and shipping box, all placed inside your new box. 
  • Shipping/handling fees are non-refundable. 
  • Customer is responsible for re-boxing original box, insuring package and shipping back to Leatherneck Jim's.  this may not be the same as the return address on your package as we have several locations.  You will need to receive an RMA number to know where to send your return. 
  • Items returned without an RMA number, if we can locate them, will either be refused, held for your pickup at your expense, or subject to additional fees and charges to reflect the additional work involved in such matters.  We area always available and will promptly send you an RMA number. 
  • Shipping/handling fees are sunk costs and cannot be reimbursed unless customer received something different from what is stated on the order.  If you receive the wrong items, we will reimburse only standard ground shipping charges.  If you have chosen expedited shipping, those fees cannot under any circumstances be reimbursed. 
  • Please allow 30 days from the date we receive the full returned order for a store credit to issue.  Please call if you would like us to expedite this process.

CANCELLED ORDERS:  Substantial fees apply to orders that are processed and cannot be cancelled.  We process orders very promptly, often within a few minutes.  Because of that, if you want to cancel an order, please call 203-746-6295 and email me at www.leatherneckjim.com.  Orders cannot be cancelled via email, but I will respond by phone.   A ten percent restocking fee will apply to all orders once your order has been processed. Closeout and Overstock items are final sale due to the steep price cuts on those items.  Orders cannot be cancelled after the item has shipped or 24 hours has passed, whichever occurs first.

CUSTOM ORDERS: We try to provide a tremendous selection of custom options, but the more custom you want something, the less likely we are to find another customer for it!  Unless otherwise noted, NO RETURNS ARE ALLOWED ON CUSTOM ORDERS or ITEMS.  Colored leather, colored piping, custom studs or stud patterns, fringed items, carved items and unusual items (we'll let you know) are considered "custom" so we urge you to measure carefully and get a leather or piping swatch sample if you have any doubts about color or fitment.  Every computer shows color in a slightly different way and pictures can be misleading, depending upon lighting conditions, your computer and monitor settings, time of day, etc.  In general, custom items include listing with state "custom" inthe description and/or all orders placed with a custom change, addition, etc.  If you have any questions, please call or email us before ordering.  Thanks!


SPECIAL PROMOTIONS:  FREE or REDUCED SHIPPING: For items that are purchased with reduced or free shipping charges: We will refund the cost of the item minus a 25 percent re-stocking fee. ABOUT FITMENT: All bikes are different and then we all tend to customize (I have three sets of pipes). Our fitment charts are there for general guidance, but it is the responsibility of the customer to use my Measurement Triangle tool to double-check fitment.  Leatherneck Jim's is not responsible for fitment mistakes.   Measurements often include dimensional measurement (widest top corner to opposite lower corner)  n parentheses (as measured from back which is slightly larger than bags) because you need to know the total area taken up by your saddlebags.  Please don't write "make sure this fits my bike" or something to that effect in your customer comment order form, because you, the rider, are in the best position to select the correct option - particularly with regard to bracket -and we cannot second-guess your purchase choice.  That said, we encourage you to call if you have any questions whatsoever and you'll receive prompt, friendly and helpful support in walking you through the fitment process!

PRICE MATCH RETURN POLICY: Lower prices may mean less service or more restrictive return policies. For that reason, please understand that in price-match situations, I reserve the right to apply the return policy & warranty of the website from which the price match came. Please review that policy carefully.

RETURN/ EXCHANGE POLICY FOR ITEMS PURCHASE OUTSIDE OF THE CONTINENTAL US: Applies to any purchase shipped to or purchased by anyone outside of the Continental United States.  All sales are final unless you receive a damaged item or something other than what you ordered, in which case, please notify us within 48 hourse of receipt.  Please measure carefully using my measurement triangle as fitment charts are meant for general guidance only and should always be double-checked by the purchaser. 

PLEASE INSURE ALL RETURNS:  If a return is in any way damaged during shipping, the shipping company will deal only with the sender. I will hold it for you, of course and will make every effort to help you in dealing with the shipping company.

WARRANTY CLAIMS AND LIMITATIONS: After removal of tags, or after bags have been mounted, any defect will be treated as a warranty issue. PLEASE OPEN ALL MATERIALS IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT AND CAREFULLY INSPECT THEM FOR DEFECTS BEFORE YOU REMOVE TAGS OR MOUNT THE BAGS. Once you remove the tags, mount or in any other way alter the bags defect claims will be handled as warranty claims and will be referred to the manufacturer. All shipping costs related to warranty issues, repair and/or return and/or replacement items will be paid for by customer and not reimbursed. In the event of a recall of any kind, we will pay for shipping of all repaired and/or replacement products.  Apache Saddlebags: Lifetime Manufacturer's Warranty against defects in parts and workmanship.  V-leather & Crusader Saddlebags: Two Year Manufacturer's Warranty against defects in parts and workmanship. 

SADDLEBAGS ARE MEANT TO BE MOUNTED- for bolt on bags that means you will be drilling holes in the back of your bag. Any other alterations or modifications made to your purchase will void your warranty.
